A full weekend!

If you live in Pittsburgh, then you are no doubt having trouble picking what events to check out this weekend. The list of scheduled events this weekend is long and most of them are free!!!

ALLEGHENY COUNTY PARK: HARTWOOD ACRES HAY DAY

PITTSBURGH OPERA: RISING STARS CONCERT

Free Admission 6-7:30pm. 2425 Liberty Avenue (Strip District)

CARNEGIE SCIENCE CENTER

Free Admission 10am-5pm. One Allegheny Avenue (North Shore)
Carnegie Science Center offers hands-on exhibits to delight and to inspire all ages. Interact with robots, explore the stars in our planetarium, visit sea creatures, shoot a foam rocket, practice the skills a surgeon uses, climb a wall in Highmark SportsWorks®, even tour a real submarine. Railroad closed for maintenance Sept. 18 - Nov. 25. Special Performance:
Prime Stage Theatre and the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will present short staged readings from their new stage adaptation of the award-winning fantasy novel, A Wrinkle in Time. Shows at 1PM and 3PM.

PHIPPS CONSERVATORY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS

SOLDIERS AND SAILORS MEMORIAL HALL AND MUSEUM
Free Admission 9:30am-5pm. 4141 Fifth Avenue (Oakland)
The museum interprets American military history through exhibits, cultural artifacts, art, uniforms and personal mementos.
