One-hour sails feature hands-on activities that will give you a whole new view of our living rivers.- Discover how people use rivers to live, work and play
- Search for plankton under a microscope
- Learn about the river valley ecosystem and its food web
- Fashion a fun river animal bobber
Kids 16 and under can earn a RiverWorks Discovery® patch for completing all of the activities onboard during the sail, sponsored by the Port of Pittsburgh Commission.
Tickets are $9.95 for adults and $5.95 for children (2 & under are free!), available at the Science Center ticket counter. Trips proceed rain or shine. Tickets are not refundable unless the trip is cancelled by RiverQuest.
