Sonoma Grille Gift Card Give-A-Way!!!

I was contacted on behalf of The Sonoma Grille in downtown Pittsburgh about doing a give-a-way for you!! I am more than pleased to try awesome Pittsburgh Restaurants and share the love (providing they're good, of course!) The SG is located on Penn Ave, right beside the Convention Center.

The Sonoma Grille was kind enough to allow me & my hubby a little taste testing and I highly recommend it! The Sonoma Grille is billed as California Eclectic and specializes in local, sustainable, and organic foods. 

I love that they work with a local co-op to get as many of their ingredients fresh & local as possible! They are a sophisticated, casual restaurant with an airy dining room displaying vivid colors and a warm atmosphere. They also believe A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine. :)   

Bottom line: it was delish!!

We were treated to some wonderful Tapas including:

*Jerked Laughing Bird Shrimp, Papaya Salsa, Plantain Chips, Toasted Papaya Seed Dressing *Indonesian Chicken Satay with Thai Peanut Sauce

*Filet Mignon with roasted tomato, sweet & sour onion marmalde, Dijon Aioli, Jack Cheese, Micro Greens

These were followed up by 2 sandwich entrees:

*Grilled Amish Chicken Breast -Free range chicken, La Quercia Farms prosciutto, housemade mozzarella, roasted red pepper, cilantro pesto, Ciabatta

*A Grilled Vegetable Gyro - grilled fresh vegetables, romaine, roma tomato, local feta cheese, tzatziki, pita

....................oh yes, and amazing fries!!

Our selections were all off of the Bar Menu. If you're looking for some amazing food in a warm relaxing atmosphere, but would like to keep the price a little lower, most certainly ask for the Bar menu that is full of delicious options such as we were able to try. And the fries, don't forget to try the fries. :-)  

And since I am expecting, I was not able to try their wide range of wines (over 100!) or many delightful drinks, but I am assured they are good!!
